Engraved Fashion (en·graved fash·uhn)

is more than a clothing brand, it’s an entire movement. The name comes from Isaiah 49:16:

“See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.”

The word engraved means “cut into,” or “to inscribe.” It’s permanent. It can’t be undone, which is the foundation of this brand.

Engraved Fashion was started in 2023 by Emmanuel Ansong-Danquah at 16 years old. During this time, I was struggling with my relationship with Christ. I always had a business mindset as well. I would be selling candy at school, reselling, and started a phone case business that did ended up flopping. I was always chasing money but never did for the right reasons.

The turning point in my life started with conviction. I had many addictions during this time. I also had greed and I lived with it everyday. In September 2022, I attended to a Bible camp. By the end of it, I broke down crying. I wanted a change in my life so badly. I wanted to live for God and represent Him in everything I do.

It wasn’t easy at first. I slipped back into a bunch of my temptations. I had to build a routine for myself. I had to stay consistent with my prayers and staying devoted to the Word. I had to keep myself busy to avoid falling back into these temptations. At the same time, I still wanted to start a new business.

However, if I was gonna do it, it had to represent God and my journey. I didn’t know where to start, so I opened my Bible. The first verse I saw was Isaiah 49:16. This verse specifically reminded me that God knows me, and He’ll always be there for me. Even while I was still struggling, He was and he will always be there.

That’s when Engraved Fashion came to life. I’ve always loved fashion, so I wanted to create clothes that held significant meaning. Pieces that could spark conversations and connect with people who might have a story like mine. Something bold that represents faith everywhere you go.

Engraved Fashion isn’t just about looking good, but It’s about the confidence one can have and standing up for a greater purpose. Every drop is built to spread God’s word in a way that people can see and feel. This brand is my story, but it’s also something bigger than me.
